Pre-SIHH 2019: Audemars Piguet - Royal Oak Offshore Chronographs Camouflage

Audemars Piguet is offering a glimpse of the 2019 Royal Oak Offshore collection with a preview of three new Royal Oak Offshore Selfwinding Chronographs in camouflage colours that will be officially introduced at the Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie (SIHH) in January 2019.info: xtime-store

Since the launch of the Royal Oak Offshore in 1993 (read about the history of the Royal Oak here), Audemars Piguet used a lot of different material and colour configurations for its sportier model. The tradition continues with these new 44 mm chronographs which combine ceramic bezel, push-pieces and screw-locked crown, Méga-Tapisserie dial and robust rubber straps.

The blue (ref. 26400SO.OO.A035CA.01) and green (ref. 26400SO.OO.A055CA.01) models feature a stainless steel case while the brown (ref. 26401RO.OO.A087CA.01) comes in a pink gold case.info: xtime-store

All models are enhanced by a blue, green or brown ceramic bezel, respectively. The use of brown ceramic is a first for Audemars Piguet. Colouring ceramic requires a complex research stage to find the right pigments, as well as a long and delicate manufacturing process. All models are equipped with the selfwinding manufacture calibre 3126/3840 beating at a frequency of 3 Hz (21,600 vph) with a power reserve of 50 hours.

Water resistant to 100 metres / 330 feet, the new Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Selfwinding Chronographs are matched to camouflage rubber straps and come with an additional rubber strap in plain blue, khaki green or brown, depending on the model. Price to be announced. info: xtime-store
